Link was founded by four partners as a brokerage firm, member of the Futures and Commodities Market – BM&F – (Bolsa de Mercadoria & Futuros)

Until today - Link occupies the first position in the ranking of the BM&F.

The creation of the New Market of Bovespa and the dynamism displayed by Brazilian companies opened an niche in the market for shares brokerage. Currently, Link has extended itself into the shares and options market of Bovespa and further into Federal Treasury Bonds, making it a full brokerage firm.
Further in this year, Link established a business relationship with the clearing house MAN FINANCIAL, signing an IB (Introducer Broker) agreement and registering itself with the National Futures Association. This placed Link alongside the main market makers of Brazilian commodities in New York, Chicago, and London and in Asia.

Link started up its Research area, thereby catering for the transformations in the variable income market, which has become somewhat less speculative and rather more focused on fundamental analysis.

The fall in real interest rates has started to provoke a migration of financial savings, from fixed rate incomes towards variable ones. On perceiving new business opportunities, Link launched itself towards the personal attendance of non-business clients, thus bringing about its entrance into the Private investment area.

Link extends its relationship with the Private Clients, further offering its services to the retail sector through Link Invest.
